Please add date to South Africa KM# 504

Today I received a 2013 South African 1 Rand in change. It is identical in all respects but date to the 2011 coin, KM# 504. However, I'm unable to add a date through the editing form and am therefore following the instructions provided by posting here. Photograph attached.



Apologies for the poor quality of the image but this photo has been taken in order to get the coin into the catalogue as quickly as possible.

Hello Andrew,

Your coin is a beautiful grade and is very similar to the 2011 KM#504 but while the obverse legend is the same, the design of the arms has been very slightly revised and the designer's initials have been relocated from lower left to lower centre. This will need a new catalogue listing page and it will have a new KM number but we probably won't find that out for another year or so. Many thanks for your contribution an please feel free to create the new page yourself which will be validated by the catalogue referee.

Thank you for the feedback! I was surprised to hear that there has been a revision of the arms but, upon close inspection, this is quite noticeable.

I shall create the new page now and upload proper images of the coin next weekend, when I have time to set up my rig.

I'm always excited to contribute to Numista and thank you for complimenting my coin. I'm rather pleased with it too!
