Hello,

Would anyone be able to tell me what is the normal price of this coin :https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces25837.html

Silver proof. Box is very worn, coin is in perfect condition.

It was offered to me with 18 euros. I am wondering if it is a good buy or not worth more than bullion value.
That is spot on for book value ...

Thank you
Is Turks and Caicos Islands one of these places that mints commemorative coins like no tomorrow? I was trying to look up their coinage and it seems so.
Do any of you collect coins from there?

In Numista search I found only 4 circulating coins in Turks and Caicos page and they were minted on 1969 and on the 80's...
I wouldn't saw "like there was no tomorrow", but yes they do as many of the island nations do but not as bad.  They do have a few valid issues ..   :°

As for collecting them, only if I should run across one for a decent price ..

Hmm I dont think they are in the same league like cock islands and other crap defecating islands.

I would love to have a coin from there. Maybe 10% over spot is fair.

It's all in the "non-circulating legal tender" bracket. I have a few of them just to please myself from certain places no more than 1 from each though because they are essentially junk ha

Hahaha. I must show this post to anyone who dares to say coin collecting is boring. :)

Thanks everyone for answers. I think I will get the coin in question anyway as I have no coins from this place so far anyway and it looks beautiful too.
