1916 French Franc Die-Capped... does it add?

3 posts
Hi all. I usually don't ask values, as I sort of figure you get what you get, but I would like to know if a die-capped coin from this era and country has any interest in it other than the silver or the date. I can provide measurements, but not at the moment. It does fit the bill for a French Franc, though.
This is more of a what to do with it question as to how much money I can salivate over.
Thank you much. Done with fifty pages of tokens and 60 pages of threads in this forum. Almost done.

Nothing in the world is so bad as something that is not so bad!
If silver the value is ~1,50 Euros and was minted from 1898 until 1920 (ø 23 mm)
There is the same exactly coin but in Nickel, minted from 1964 until 2001 (ø 19,5mm)
It is not a collectable coin.

This coin had been modified. It should be an handmade job of soldier during the WWI ;)
