Hey everyone,

Does 30 bucks (shipping incl) for this coin seem ok? and most importantly, is it authentic?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I think you posted this before, I still cannot find this coin anywhere, but that does not mean it does not exist authentically. I still feel weird about the yellow green stuff on the first pic.

I would say if you don't know what it is, and no one can help to identify it, then if you ever sell it, it will be hard to prove what it is, and get value back. If no one in the world can identify it, then unfortunately I see it as bullion. But even as a coin, unless you really need it for a set, I think $30.00 is a bit high. Just my opinion.

The color of it suggests it was cleaned, I see very few old indian (Assuming it is from india) coins in such a bright luster, but if it was cleaned, why that yellow/green stuff, and why only on one side?

If seller guarantees silver content, maybe go for it, but if seller doesn't guarantee I would suspect it might be lead. I am no expert on this subject at all. (The pearls on OBV bottom, are in very nice condition compared to rest of coin which is a main focus issue)

Hope you find what you are looking for

Hello Barnabus,

I appreciate your research, and yea, the yellowish stuff is indeed a little weird.

Hmm, true enough (your opinion). I'm probably going to drop this one.

Thanks,
