I would say I agree with you, but I find it more annoying when the varieties aren't listed :(

Russian Kopeks, just plainly say: Varieties Exist, and they do all have different values and mintages, there is just a lack of credible info unless you can read cyrillic on Russian websites.

But that is a lot of varieties for 1 year :/

BUT If you want to see a coin with a TON of varieties, that I absolutely hate

I specifically despise these spanish coins with tons of varieties, especially since usually on the lower denom, it is so hard to see the # in the star.

I wouldn't call them varieties.  If you get a 20x or 40x loupe then it's pretty easy to see the dates.

I am waiting on the mail for my 20x glasses!!!

I actually am supposed to go get glasses soon for normal vision, so my plan is to show up to work wearing these 20X loupe glasses, and say "Well what do you think?" to my boss lol, She has no clue about coins or anything, so I think it may give her a good scare, especially since I operate heavy machinery. LOL.

In RE: to variety, why wouldn't they be, they are all same year. Only difference is #, I still don't even know what the # signifies? Is it a different mint, or just different die?

To me they're not different varieties because they just have a fixed date with the real date in the stars, it's a normal series of coins.  Varieties are differences in the design, not the date of the coin.
The Spanish have this tradition of only putting the date of first issue/minting. The numerals inside the stars tell you what actual date it is.

Theyre quite annoying though. (also known as when you have worn Spanish coins and you don't know what date it is -_-)

I like the fact that finnish coins don't have much different varieties but finnish banknotes... I hate finnish banknotes there are always different varierities of almost all finnish banknotes and it's annoying when have to identify my finnish banknotes but the good thing is that it's easier to find good deals
