40mm crown, unknown script, I'm stumped

Any recognize this one? 40mm, silver, 27.8g.

The script is definitely Ethopian but I couldn't find the coin in the database.
If I haven't made a mistake the date is EE 1948 which would be AD 1955/56.

I can't find it as a coin anywhere, guessing it's a coronation medal.

 The originals are Numbers 4 or 20 on that page, and are 32mm as mentioned on the NGC site; so as yours is 40mm then not intended as a forgery I think, otherwise it would have been made the same size.
 Also on that page is Number 12 which looks more like yours, but does not mention a size.  

There are many Chinese fakes for Romanian coins, that instead of 37mm has 40mm
