What are these marks on the edge of my Orchha rupee?

Hi,

 These are Test Marks made by Shroffs (Money Exchange owners) or Jewelers to know the authenticity of the coin. This was done to prevent counterfeits which are generally made with less or no silver at all. They appear in many shapes and sizes and sometimes very interesting.

En voici 4 autre sur un roupie de Pratapgarh. La saleté dans l;es marques démontrent qu'elles sont anciennes.
