7 posts
This coins is from Danish India and I think it is a 1 cash but I am having difficulties finding it in Krause

metal copper
weight 0.68
size 9.57
thickness 1.53

Thanks - Roy
Not in catalog.
Hi Roy,
Yes you are right. It's a Tranquebar Cash. The crowned "DOC" on the obverse stands for "Dansk Ostindisk Compagni" (Danish East India Company). Not able to read the reverse which should have the ruler's name.

Maybe Frederik IV. KM#124, But not sure.

Thanks again Sujit
This is my first coin from Danish India and also came from Shamik.

I think you are right in identifying it as a Cash form Frederik IV. KM#124 dated 1700
