Should I put in a sonic cleaner, or just leave. And put up. As always thank you Tony. I have been up for 20 to 22 hours and falling asleep. So I say good night all thanks again Tony

I would not clean this coin if it were mine, I love patinas like that. Unless you don't like it, then the sonic cleaner will probably help the some of that.
Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!

Looking for pre 1783 coins

Yes David just thinking the best for the coin. I am not going to clean and put up. I should put in bargain finds - I gave 3 dollars for it.

It looks like a good VF+ with a nice toning but some unwanted tarnish on top of it, you could try to just do a gentle wash with water and soap.

The coin is nice and the price even better.
Here in Portugal, we can acquire it with 20/25 Euros. See this one for instance:

The coin shows some cooper oxides (green spots) that should be treated:
Use WD40 and leave it there for one/two days.  Than wash it with soap and an old brush.
Dry and store.
The nice patina will not be affected.

Congratulations  <:D  <:D

Yes I suppose the verdigris would spread if there was any moisture, so better to stop that oxidization without effecting the patina.
