Looks not as easy to spot as the 1 Penny 1926 M.E. - but going by Numista images of the obverses, I see on the 1922 coin the I of BRITT points between border dots, whereas the 1929 coin points at the dot.
Tomorrow in daylight I can get my coins before and after 1926 and compare them i.e. put say a 1930 on top of 1925 and see what is noticeable (and add some pictures here).
Yes - looks like the letter I can tell the difference ...
1930 at top with 1925 resting on it 1925 left / 1926ME / 1930 right 1926ME doubled lettering
Also good for me as I thought I had a normal 1926, so mine is Modified Effigy as well - and looking closer the top of each letter has evidence of being over-struck.
