Reverse: Crown and shields of Austria, Burgundy, and Brabant
Reverse Legend: …BVRG DOM TOR (the … means other lettering present)
EDIT: I have seen a different coin which the complete lettering reads something like ...
ARCHID · AVST · DVCES · BVRG · DOM · TOR
which is abbreviation for: ARCHIDUCES AUSTRIAE DUCES BURGUNDIAE DOMINUS TORNESIS
French translation: Archiducs d'Autriche, ducs de Bourgogne et seigneurs de Tournai
but it had a different reverse (with a cross, not a crowned shield). It was a 1/4 Patagon coin.
Thank you, ZacUK
The legend seems to match, too bad NGC doesn't provide a picture.
I know an Albert and Elisabeth specialist, I'll ask him for pics, and maybe create Numista page.
I amended the lettering above since your reply, and one result (a 1 Patagon) is already on here - and shows similar to that coin I mentioned with a cross on the other side ...

Quote: tony.cOn my coin I can identify the word "DUCES", not "DUX", so A&E is probably more likely ?

It will probably be "DOMINI TORNESIS" as they were 2 (used to study latin in a previous life)
Thank you, I'll go check my catalog for tournai coins

I've used that site before, but forgot about it
Didn't know you read Dutch
