Hi
I haven't been able to find this (crude) Mexican civil war coin online. Can anyone tell me anything about it ?
30mm
5grams (aprox)
Non-magnetic
I don't know if it's silver or not.

I think a fake ...
1 you haven't been able to find it
2 too crude, like you say
3 spelling errors - should be ESTADOS not ESTADS and UNIDOS not UNIDS
The hole was added later.
I found (with pictures) where one was sold for $20 and was silver. The sixth item down the page ...

Here is another, but with differences (correct spelling but amended lettering positions, and no snake) - it sold for 5 Euro and was described as a copper-nickel token ...

Whoa 20 $ ? I paid 3 $ for it. The melt value here is about 4 $ tho.
How else can i tell if it's silver or not ? Shouldn't copper-nickel be magnetic ?
I found this link about my coin:
http://www.todoexpertos.com/categorias/arte-y-ocio/coleccionismo/respuestas/cx3yta7bur8cy/moneda-estados-unidos-mexicanos-ano-1914
Can anyone translate what is being discussed ?
And about the crudeness of the design, i thought that if this
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces35571.html is a legit coin design maybe mine could be real too !

Nickel is magnetic.Oh crap!
You know, the most frustrating thing about this coin is that i just wanted an old (non-silver) mexican coin, i didn't really want anything fancy, rare or expensive !

Probably slot machine token.
The hole was not added later on my coin.

Very similar!
But mine looks really old (to me anyway). Did they have such slot machines that old ?
