Rouble mint mark??

7 posts
Hey - I just got me one of these (a bit battered tbh)

 https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces11413.html

Now if I am right the mint mark is on the edge of the coin (A. r) but the r is Russian and my keyboard is English lol. Can anyone give me a bit more guidance please as to if that is indeed the mint mark and what mint that relates to???

Thanks for looking!

The Cyrillic "upside down L" is the equivalent of "G" in English. Not sure what mint this might be...
Maybe this link would help.

The lettes AГ on the edge are actually the mint master's intials.

All roubles struck in Saint Petersburg have no mint mark. The ones struck in Paris or Brussels have * or **, respectively, instead of the mint master's intials.
Thanks for your help guys!
