I might, over time, be able to get them for you ...
Those are two in my collection, so not for exchange, and in the few I have in my exchanges they are not there - so must be the harder-to-get coins, which is why you also do not yet have them.
I am also missing (number 10 and 23 gaps below) two from my collection, not sure which ...
and yes there are 29 designs, as in Olympics and Paralympics combined there were 29 sports, but technically there are 30 different coins. That excludes the round Completer Medallion that the Royal Mint issued to fill their cardboard album. On my page above, in the top row (coins arranged in alphabetical order of the sport) I have TWO of the Athletics design - one side has 2009 and the other is 2011 dated.
The reason that I may be able to get them is last year I mentioned on here somewhere a website where people can swap their Olympic coins with likeminded people. No charge - each just pays the postage; I think it is for people from only within the UK - will try to find the link I gave.
P.S. The two I am missing are Cycling and Table Tennis. No rush - I am sure I will get them eventually. Oh, and I did have them at one time, just that after I saw a member post an image on here of his rotation error 50pence UK Olympic coin, I checked all mine and I had some as well. Here is my Shooting one ...
The seven angles of the outer shape are not in line with the inner angles, thus creating a border that is thicker and thinner in parts.
I found the link - it is on the site of Westminster Collection - I first mentioned it 10-Nov-2012 and clicked on it again just now, and it is still there, a year after the Olympics finished!
Though yes, I see monéphil is correct, it now has a Change Checker link - plus it is now not just for UK Olympics 50 pence, as it also does other 50p and £1 and £2 as well.
So thanks bam777 I will get my final two from you.
I have those two fifty pence pieces if you need them . I have hundreds of Olympic and other 50 pence pieces to be honest...I don't understand this sites swap system.
On a coin page you put a quantity in the Exchange box, then other members can choose it from you. Which you already must have done as you show 774 coins for exchange, though nobody can see them as there is no link to tick.
You can swap by clicking on Start a swap on the left here, or clicking on the member's name, or on a coin page clicking on those names who show it for swap. In the Start a swap you can also look at a map to see who is near you, if the other member has entered a postal code. Also there you can see who has the most coins you would want, based on you already having marked coins that you would wish to get (showing a red heart).
