I noticed a minor bug in displaying mint years in right "Features" block:
2 coins have the same mint years: 127-2480 (1908-1937) (Thai and Gregorian calendars accordingly)
And these years looks good for 5 Satang, as 127-2480 (1908-1937)
And for 10 Satang it looks like: 127-2480 (-543-1937)
Note "-543" instead of 1908.
Most people just don't know how to find the date at those coins (as well as at the coins of Japan, Israel, etc.) Maybe it's better to publish tables with the writings of all the years as they appear on coins? I have some of them here: for Thailand, Israel, Japan and Arabic countries
The converters are too awkward. If I had 100 coins with different dates, it would take me hours to define all of them using a converter. And it would be much easier to write "Unknown date".
There are not so many dates, it is possible to create tables.
Sure, removing "Unknown" line is a wrong solution. I don't want this.
It's just a plain software bug. As I see, if the year is Unknown, then it should not be treated as "0", but this line should be skipped when displaying years in the right "Features" block.
I've fixed the bug. "Unknown" years should indeed not be considered as 0.
In addition to the converter, some coins have the years in local alphabet written as a comment.
See example here: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces1642.html
This is very similar to ciscoins' idea of a conversion table.

Yes, thank you Xavier! The topic can be closed.

Yes, many (maybe all?) Israel coins have in comments the year written in local alphabet. And indeed, it helps a lot. So, every Numista member can add such comments to contribute the catalog and help the community.
