Hi!

You have a coin in a sad grade, holed, deformed, cleaned... but you keep in your collection because you haven't found it in a better grade?

Show us the worst you have!

Mine will come soon ;)

What is that ? I have a few although I've just upgraded from the holed Mauritius 20c Queen Victoria - the grade is slightly lower but it's not holed. Not sure if I want to swap because it's got the H mintmark whereas the other doesn't. :S
It's a French décime, overstriked on a 2 décimes. z)

I searched many months for this coin.
So I found this one and I will keep it in my collection.

It is not easy to find. Even in a bad condition.

It looks like a half eaten chocolate coin but with 90%+ cocoa in it.:O
Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER (on a QWERTY keyboard) is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.
I keep this poor thing,

I believe this coin was used for a target pellet gun shooting practice .

I like it because it reminds me of the Count of Monte Christo, one of my favorite books,
the count practices shooting the small caliber air pistol in his room. The episode in the book I recall he used a playing card for a target and could shoot each club on an eight of clubs from 15 feet away.

Sherlock Holmes did the same. His target was a disk of cork.

So I imagine an idle gentleman of the 19th century set this coin in a chink on his mantlepiece or something like that and scored pretty well, then set down to drink Port wine and smoke Turkish tobacco from a hookah :D

I would love this lifestyleX-D.....
I think the idle gentleman went in to drink his port wine because he was upset that his horse stepped on this one of the same year.

Its ugly as requested but I just don't have the heart to destroy it. Maybe someday somebody will love it and appreciate it again.
