Lol. I've always wondered about members building fake collection, and how that would effect the rarity index of coins.

Why not put a fake entry on coins that are known to have fakes?

That's interesting.  Numista won't let you own more than 255 of a coin. I stuck 2000 of these in my collection as a joke, to see how low it would drop the rarity rating (it only went to 97) and when I went back into the page it said I own 255 of them.
