An ancient coin, or something else ? [solved]

Approx 35mm. Lettering appears Roman. It's shape is unusual, almost like a hollowed out flying saucer.

Definitely nothing numismatic associated.

to me it looks more like a decorative object of a 19th century furniture piece.

doesnt seem to be any text just rope, floral and shell decorative elements.
