Roman coin ID: Is Reverse Figure of Hercules with animal (skin) and spear? [solved]

3 posts • viewed 40 times

Have scoured Numista and other sites for a while to find a figure (Hercules?) holding what appears to be a dead antelope or a skin on the left hand and a spear on the right hand. Obverse has a portrait of an emperor, but unable to discern any lettering. Coin weighs 2.58 grams and is approximately 18 mm in diameter. See photos below. Hope someone recognizes the figure on reverse. Thanks in advance.

It is a late Roman Gloria Romanorvm showing the emperor dragging a captive on the reverse of the coin.

thank you very much. I now see the resemblance to the figure. not sure there is enough detail to determine where it was minted. I have narrowed it down to about 9 possible matches in Numista. But at least I have the correct coin. thanks!!!
