Good day, fellow collectors.

As I understand image showing character in the Doorway for this coin is letter ‘Ain’ written in Arabic alphabet

My coin have letter styled in Urdu as  ع

My question - is it considered a different type coin ?

Read the Comment section of the listing, which may have your answer.

To be fair, i sometimes miss the „READ MORE“ button under the comments to expand them and see more information, especially when the first comment information ends at a logical point and is concluded. It leaves you thinking interesting, but not relevant to my query, then you go off researching somewhere else only to come back to the page and realise the comments can be expanded and the answer to your question was there all along.

I think that is what happened to the OP here, if the OP is still lost on the explanation, click the „READ MORE“ button under the comments section and the information on the short „Ain“ will be there for you.

And the “full ain” which is perhaps what is on the OP's coin.

No he has short Ain Y53 „short initials "Ain" in doorway is Y#53.“

I think the image posted was the numista photo.  But yes, it's a confusing.

And then posted a picture with short Ain, which I guess isn‘t his coin then, and probably the one from the coin page. That is where the confusion came from, me not reading his post well enough and understanding that his character in the gate isn‘t the picture he posted.

Anyway my point still stands that missing the „READ MORE“ in the comments can happen to us all.
