I purchased a coin that was labeled “First Century AD Bronze Time of Augustus Caesar 27 bc - 100 ad" I'm trying to determine if the coin is indeed from that time period. I have looked through a lot of images but there seem to be very few that are close to what I have in hand so wondering if it was mislabeled. It is a very worn coin so not easy for a newcomer like myself. Not worried about value but it struck me a awesome at the age of the coin. But would like to know more of a history. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. I've come to find out the “authenticator” is not a very reputable “company” so possibly not even as noted.
