Very old, worn coin [solved]

Hi Numista,

I found this coin in a bulk lot some time ago and I never managed to identify it (too worn).

Mass: 2g (my scale only goes to the nearest gram)

Diameter: about 19.2mm

Thickness: about 0.6mm

Edge is reeded

If anyone can identify this, thank you!

Looks like a UK coin from early 1800's - will see if I can find similar …

Token collector [1600-1899] with some coins

I live in the UK, so that seems very realistic, the portrait looks a little like george iii as well

From that size it is most like a Sixpence - such as this

 or this - N#13167  [19mm]

The reverse does have that crowned shield, with a thick

circle around the outside - so is most like that.

Thank you so much!
