Why is it only listed in proof and no mint mark ? Mine has a mint mark

Got some pictures?

The coin page is confusing “mint mark” with mint master/engraver initials. The mint mark ♥ is on all coins for all years.  The initials only on coins from 2014-2016.

That’s what I thought the heart has always been the mint mark on danish coins that’s why the WWII Faroe islands coins are easy to recognise due the the lack of the heart mint mark.

Somebody needs to clean up the coin page.  This page does it right. N#1415

This should probably be added to all relevant pages:

Mint masters:

Laust Grove (LG initials)

Jørgen Strandgaard (JS)

Lars Gerrild Sørensen (LGS)

Chief engravers:

Jan Peterson (JP initials)

Henrik Wiberg (HW initials)

Jamtrup is from Denmark and is responsible for Danish entrances in Numista… and you? You have a problem with whom exactly? Please quiet down and behave like a civil person!

Please tell us if someone put you up to this random insertion into this forum post, I have wondered for a while if a certain member is stirring up people’s responses with PMs and then letting them start arguments on the Forum to avoid the consequences. Because I am really failing to see how you so quickly jumped to the conclusion that this tagging of another member was for no reason, why would anyone do that?

I think that we have the same person in mind, it is just like his modus operandi

Hi! :D

I think I'll have to ask for a bit more context? Rsirian1(?) wants an elaboration of the mintmarks, and the text for the mintmasters and engravers being added to the comment section of the relevandt coin pages?

Maybe it's better or easier for the person who found the issue to do it? Just copy paste? 🤔

And remember I'm not a Danish coin referee, though I have some knowledg, qualified guessing and contacts, and always happy to help, when/if I can! :D

Bedst, from Denmark

I have a soft spot for origami paper cranes.
Read or watch about "Sadako Sasaki and the Thousand Paper Cranes".
Spread a little peace and happiness wherever you go :)

I have no vested interest but I'll be happy to clean up this one coin page.  It was probably just a translation error on the part of the person that created the error, “mint mark” instead of “mint master.”

Edit: Submitted. Some of the other coin pages should be examined for the same type problems.

Edit: validated very fast Thank you @Elvi75

I have added the above.

I see that a lot of the Danish pages are outdated and missing some information, I will go over the catalog in the next coming weeks.

Interrested in nordic numismatic history, and european history overall.

Always looking for damaged, holed or even unidentifyable coins.
