Both of these pages feature the same coin and should be merged.

What is the reason for different KM numbers?

Countermarked on coins from different mints.

If both Mexican coins are on the same page these should be too.

This is a minor variety difference that can be distinguished on a singular page and does not require a full separate page. Most sources do not distinguish the two and the only real difference is the mint mark of the host coin.

Yes, I think we can just add the different host coin mints as date lines.

Since it is a Japan coin, it is the countermark that is most important (as it determines the issuer).  So we also should flip the obverse and reverse if the countermark always occurs on the “cap and rays” side (as has been done in KM).

Now merged.

Ehm, nice and all but doing stuff like this over the head of the referee(s) is kinda sh*tty.

I don't want to know what else is done by catalog admins on their own whim and people stumble later about changes they can't explain.

The change requests you have made did not indicate in the slightest of your plans nor did this generic ass forum thread title indicate anything about Japan.

My bad.  No excuse and I should have checked with you before proceeding.

Sorry for the mistake.
