Vatican coin set

My uncle was a priest and went to Rome a lot. Can’t tell if this is just a tourist souvenir or real coins/medals.
the red case is a Vatican case but coins have o markings except one that has a S*S on it.  Two coins weigh 10.5 grams and one weighs 10.3 grams.   I can’t find an image of this anywhere online.   Any clues?

I would guess they are souvenir medallions.

I used this search: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/index.php?e=papal_states_section&r=IOANNES+PAVLVS+II&st=150-149&cat=y&im1=&im2=&ru=&ie=&ca=3&no=&v=&cu=&a=&dg=&i=&b=&m=&f=&t=&t2=&w=&mt=&u=&g=&c=&wi=&sw=

Could you take photos of the reverse side?
