Hello to you all,

I´ve aquaired this coin a few days ago and I have a difference of wight (mine is 4,69 grams and the one at this catalogue is 7,5 grams). My question is: Is there any way to confirm the weight range of these type of coins (really old ones)? I tried using the RIC volumes but honestly I cannot understand if this type of information is there.

I understand that whith this old coins I´m not going to have an accurate number such as in some modern coins because of the age, but I think there might be a range of “trust values” where I can put my coin.

Thanks in advanced,

Facundo.

Hola, Facundo

Como puedes ver en la página de OCRE de esta moneda, https://numismatics.org/ocre/id/ric.6.lon.103 , las hay con una diversidad de pesos. El peso medio es 6.48, pero el mínimo es 3.93 g.
