Syria recently started to introduce a new pound, cutting two zeros from the old one. This change is already in the catalog, but with incorrect dates.
The new currency only started to roll out January 1. of this year and the old pound will be retired after a 90 days period of dual circulation.

However, in Numista the First Pound is displayed as if it was circulation up until 2024 and the second pound was started in 2025:

1. The First Pound should be dated up until 2025, or if we count the short period of dual circulation, until 2026. I'm not sure what is the common policy in such cases (like when a country switched to the €) if this dual period counts or not. But 2024 is definitely incorrect.
2. The Second Pound should be dated from 2026. The banknote design was only announced in the last days of 2025 and it was said that these will start enter circulation in 2026 January 1st. To further complicate things, these new banknotes does have 2025 dates on them, not 2026. Again, I'm not familiar what is the preferred method to catalog this, when a coin/banknote has a date that pre-dates the actual entering of circulation. Both of those dates are correct on the pages of the new banknotes:

TL;DR: The dates of the two Pounds should be changed to this:
- First Pound (1919-2025)
- Second Pound (2026-)

Changed, thank you!
