I think that this coin's page deserves some more information about thickness, diameter and weight.
Right now we know that two different planchets of Ivory Coast 10 francs 1966 exist.
One 2,9 mm and one 3,5 mm thick. As far as we know both of them have a diameter of 34,4 mm, a weight of 25 g and both of them are silver 0,925 made. This is obviously impossible because the thicker one must be havier if they have same diameter and composition.
I propose to discuss about it and try to understand which are the real differences about these coins. Some of us have the second kind, so maybe someone could carefully measure it?
I only have the first kind and I can only confirm that all the datas are correct.
2,9 mm thickness
34,3 mm diameter
25,00 (!) weight
