1875 H Penny ... or wishful thinking? [solved]

I got this heavily worn 1875 Penny in a lot, and I see something like a faint “H” beneath the date … or is it a wishful thinking and the spot is only a spot?

The coin weights 8,47 gr.

After several failed attempts, I managed to take this photo with my cell phone's macro function ….. it seems that the “H” is (was) indeed there.

Your opinion?

It is very worn off, but no doubt the remains of the H are there.
