How to sell my coin collection

I have a coin collection of 4,910 coins (1,278 containing silver), mostly US. Numista values it at about $15,000.

I would like to sell the entire collection, not piece by piece. any suggestions?

I suggest you sell it to coin shop for the whole collection but you won't get as much momney compared to selling it piece by piece or by small lots with similarity (~$100) (ex. world silver, wheat pennies).

If you take it to a dealer, then you're going to take a hit on price.  

The best balance between getting the highest price and saving the most time is to sell the most expensive pieces separately, sell the silver that is only worth melt value in batches, and then sell the rest in bulk lots
