Adding an Interactive Year line display in My Collection Year Graph.

Like most members I have a large and vivid collection of coins, however most are from the late Middle Ages through to the present day, with the overwhelming majority being post WWII time scale. I do however own the odd ancient coin from a few years BC to 200 AD, subsequently this produces a graph with large amounts of empty space between the two extremes filled with no information.

Can I therefore suggest an interactive line to enter the date range of the members choosing, so he or she may be able to better understand and visualise his or her collection in graph form?

Edit; changed from suggestion to bug fix, as some web browsers don’t show the option to click and drag using mouse. I don’t know if this is to do with tablet use compared to pc use or safari compared to Microsoft, or iOS compared to windows.

Just select the range you are interested in with your mouse (you can reset the view per right click).

Exactly what it says to do right above the graph.

As you can see it doesn’t say that for me! I have changed the post to „report a bug“ instead of „improve“ although if this option isn’t available to everyone for what ever reason, maybe an input year bar as well as a click and drag would be the answer. @fjjohnson thinks I can’t read and assumed what they can see, everyone else can see 😂

Hello,
This functionality is available only on devices where you can click. It's not available on tablets and phones.

Hi Xavier, thanks for the clarification. Is it possible then to add a input year line (year from and year to) so that those using tablets or phones can have the same functionality as those who can click?

I personally have been using tablets exclusively for at least 10 years now, I can’t be the only one who is moving away from the antiquated technology of the mouse and relying exclusively on the wizardry of touch screen 😉

There is nothing antiquated with high precision input devices. These little Fisher price kiddy screens in cars for example are a disease of supposed modernity that make you drive worse then an alcoholic high as a skunk when using them (nobs and buttons for the win).
