Question: Please share your thoughts on where to place Mel Wacks (MW) counterstamp (CS) or countermarked coins (CM) in the Numista catalogue under the Exonumia category.

Jerry (@JLHare) and I would like to hear from you to help us organize the MW CS proposed Numista pages. You can find an overview of his counterstamped coins here. There are some pending MW CS to be published. Jerry's thinking is to add them to the sub-category for Elongated Tokens (ET). I will let him fill everyone in on his rationale.

I'm not sure if 'ET' is the best category or label for MW CS. There is some distinction based on online information from Wikipedia ET page. Additionally, PCGS produces separate grading population reports for ET, CS, and CM pages.

There are already some MW CS posted under Commemorative Medals (see #524201, #524118, and #274916). We didn't think this sub-category was a good fit for labeling his coins. Sorry for using acronyms – I didn't want to spell out the exact words repeatedly. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. It's much appreciated!

Yes, that is basically only category where “post mint damaged” items can be added.
