I have cases with all the “Westward Journey” nickels in them, one of each in all three finishes. Mint State/Circulation finish, Proof finish, and SP/Satin finish.
I would like a better idea of their condition as it is hard to tell looking through the hard protective plastic covers that have been on them ever since they left the the Mint. Any ideas on it being a bad thing to carefully open them up and examine them without touching them and taking them out? Any idea’s or input is greatly appreciated!
