25 santeem 1936

The reason for the change to the scalloped edge was due to the fact that the 25 santeem and the 50 santeem were identical except that the 50 was made of silver. Enterprising people were dipping the 25 santeems in silver to give them a silver coating and pass them as 50 santeems.
