Uzbekistan 100 SOM 2018 [solved]

in our catalogue there's only one variation of this coin (N#144052).

However, I have found these two distinctive ones (sent a modification request):

There is also a difference in the bands/ribbons.  The example with the larger star has the bands nearly “fused” together.

I wonder if these differences could result from different stamping pressures rather than die variety?

Difference in crescent and start clearly shows that it is a different die and not manufacturing error.

Here are my 4 coins from 2018, which I estimate to uncirculated, since a friend got hold of them in a bank in Tashkent.

The 500 som has a star with no moon or anything

Looking more closely, maybe the die has been re-cut.  The lettering (especially … KISTON ) has a sort of shadow around each letter.  

But also, the wreath leaves at the top right are quite different (including the angles with respect to each other), so, increasingly I agree with Dejan that differences in die are most likely explanation.

I have a couple of UNC 500 Som and on all of them crescent and star are barely recognizable.
