The new issuer “Shaybanid Local Issuers” has been created at level 4 (on same level as Shaybanid Dynasty), as this is the approach used in many other places when local issues and “royal” issues co-exist.  4 ruling authorities have been added (if others are needed we can add), and the currency is in place.

I submitted one coin to check that everything works OK.

Thank you! I'll begin the process of adding all of the coins today. Just a note, but the issuer name comes up as “Local Issuers Shaybanid” when I check the issuer instead of “Shaybanid Local Issuers”

I will also include a list of ruling authorities and their info once I get to uploading their coins, as there are a total of 9 listed local rulers for the Shaybanid Apanages

I will correct the issuer name, and yes, I saw there were more rulers, but I could only find examples of coins from about half the rulers listed in Album.  Glad to add others as they are found.

I have just finished adding all of the coins I could find sufficient evidence for. Here is the list of additional ruling authorities. I'll also be crossposting this list to my Central Asian ruling authority master post, which I've been updating for a few months now. (https://en.numista.com/forum/topic165940.html#p1276463)

Shaybanid Local Issuers:

- Ruling Authority Bahadur Khan (circa 1500) (N#524471)

- Ruling Authority Timur Muhammad (circa 1512-1513) (N#524424)

- Ruling Authority Darwīsh Khan (circa 1556-1575) (N#524462)

- Ruling Authority Sultan Sa'id (circa 1567-1572) (N#524466)*

- Ruling Authority Ibrahim Bahadur (circa 1599-1600) (N#524442)

*: Im unsure as to the meaning of “Sultan” in this name. While often a ruling title, I believe that it is possible that this rulers name was “Sultan Sa'id”, as both Zeno and SARC refer to him as such, while not ascribing a specific title like “sultan” to any other of the Shaybanid Apanage and rebel rulers.

Thank you for your help on this issuer!

For the second one (Timur Muhammad), Album wrote this in the 3rd Edition Checklist:

#3000 Sulayman Sultan, at Balkh, circa 974-975 / 1566-1567, AR tanka — Davidovich has demonstrated that coins once ascribed to this ruler are really issues of Sulayman Mirza the Timurid (#2465). Hence type #3000 must now be deleted.

So maybe the coin gets moved and we do not need this ruler?

I will add the other rulers.

That message is referring to Album #3000, while the Timur Muhammad tanka’s number is Album #A3000. SARC uses letters to differentiate former numbers that have been reassigned. Zeno recognizes Timur Muhammad, as does SARC’s own auction records. I believe that note was added to make sure readers did not conflate Album #A3000 with the former Album #3000.
