Hello,
when cleaning out mijn uncles house, i came across this 2 coins.
I can only find the coin from ‘Boudewijn’ but i can't find the ‘fabiola’ coin.
I'm wondering what the set is worth.
It's in a box with a certificate. Details are on the photo.

The Fabiola one seems to be this coin: N#317429
Is the Boudewijn one in the set gold (the certificate mentions gold), because the link above is to a silver version?
no, both are silver.
The certificate mentions both. I guess there are 2 versions.
I found an unsold Fabiola one on ebay, priced a bit above bullion value. Nothing for the Boudewijn one.
So I guess you at least have the silver value.
true, it's worth at least the silver value.
But i thought that some collectors will pay ‘a lot’ more for this.
The coin is rare, no?
If you go by the certificate 12.500 were made. But finding a collector will not be easy, and then one willing to pay “a lot” is even trickier.
You can add it here in a swap collection to see if anyone is interested, or you can try sites like ebay or more locally 2dehands.be . There is a specific coin auction site in Belgium called De Munthoek, but I just heard in another thread that they seem to be scammers. Goeiendeal.be is a generic auction site that carries silver coins/medals quite often. Maybe they can sell it for you.

The mintage is stated on the certificate as not more than 12,500. Not rare for a medallic issue.
Value is not determined by rarity alone. It is determined by the supply-demand balance at a specific point in time.
If only 10 examples of somethng exist, but only 1 buyer wants it, the price will be low.
If 1,000 buyers want it, the price will be orders of magnitude higher.
