1926 Peace dollar mint marks. [solved]

Hi all.

I have just seen a picture online of a 1926 Peace dollar with what looks like an A mint mark.Has there ever been an A mint mark on US coins?

Is this a US coin mint mark at all? From what I have found online it appears that this is a fake but I aren't an expert. Anyone any ideas? I'd love to hear them.

That's the AF for Anthony de Francisci the designer/engraver of the coin. The mint mark if any is a D or S (no mint mark for Philadelphia) and is on the other side with the eagle.

Sometimes the engravor's monogram is more prominent that the mint mark, look at the Saint Gaudens $20
