Appears to be UK 6 pence 1838-87, any way to identify year?

Hello, I got this coin from an ebay lot with no information. I’ve studied the writing “…A DEI GRATIA BRI…” and it only matches the 6 pence UK coin from 1838-87, and the faded Queen Victoria matches. The diameter matches as well. Is there any way to decipher the year, or at least the hair style (since there’s 3), without damaging the coin?

The rear side is almost completely faded. I flipped it coin style, as all three of the potential coins are coin style. It looks like someone tried to use a product to grab a year off it, as there’s markings on both sides of the coin. However, if it matters, they don’t line up.

Thanks for your help!
