It helps to get an answer if you identify the coin, including a link to the  Numista type if it is already in the catalog..

 

But for a start, medievals often have lettering variations.

I can find a few variations in spelling in examples on acsearch, but this one seems extreme as we do not even see IW for Ivan on the side with Christ (at least as far as I can tell).
