Welcome to numista,
Please read the forum policy before posting. Please give us the dimensions and only show us the coin and not those 500 acres of background!!!
In this particular case, we don't need the dimensions and the photos are usable.
You have a normal, average circulated, common-date US dime. It is worth face value (10 cents). Spend it on your next trip to the US.

A general rule and courtesy, that's all.

Yes it is a rule, but in this particular case, dimensions were not necessary as the photos were usable. Requesting dimensions and close-ups is pedantic.
And the first time poster knew all that? Excuse me for being contradicting ! A rule is a rule, or it isn't?
Conan Doyle (Sherlock Holmes) said if a rule has an exception, then it's not a rule any longer!

The original poster is likely a novice collector who happened upon this website and posed a simple question with uncropped photos. I would guess that he did not read the rules that you cited, nor, in this particular case, are those rules necessary to answer his question. There is no practical to benefit to posting dimensions or close-up photos of a modern US dime, and insisting otherwise is a very definition of pedantic.
To be clear, dimensions and close-up photos are often useful and sometimes necessary especially with ancient or medieval coins, surface finds, detector finds, counterfeit coins, or any coin with serious damage.
Let us be more judicious in the application of rules in this forum.
