50 Cents 1968 Singapore copy or not?

Hello, help me figure this out.

The 1968 coin has an uneven rim, but is beveled downwards, and this is the case on both sides.

The stamp design is completely identical, there are differences in weight, the normal weight is 9.33 grams, the 1980 coin weighs 9.32 g, and the 1968 coin weighs 9.44 g.

Besides, the 1968 coin has a better edge than the 1980 and other coins of this type.

This coin is not expensive, so there is no point in counterfeiting it, but even if so, why does the edge look better than normal coins, and the stamp is the same?

Please help me figure this out.

Here are some additional photos of other coins from this year.

Two different mints, I think the 68 issue was made by the Royal Mint

Why are the edges filed down? Maybe they did it after minting? And the weight is above the norm.

Totally real, common cupro nickel coin, no reason for anyone to fake them.

These coins I find stain and get discoloured easy, mainly due to Singapore's very hot and humid climate.

I love coins. Especially silver, gold and anything really old.
