4,327 of August's new members selected a nation. 143 nations are represented this month, and 88 of those nations have at least one active new account. Of August's new users, 699 are American, 573 are French, 332 are Indian, 168 are British, 157 are Canadian, and 146 are Spanish.
There were notable surges in memberships from Belarus, Brazil, Congo, Indonesia, Israel, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Morocco, Slovakia and United Arab Emirates.
Angola, Armenia, Aruba, Bahrain, Benin, Botswana, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Eswatini, Gabon, Ghana, Guernsey, Haiti, Jamaica, Malawi, Malta, Mauritius, Monaco, Namibia, Nicaragua, Oman, Puerto Rico, Saint Kitts & Nevis, Saint Martin, Somalia, Tajikistan, Timor-Leste and Togo each gained one new member.
Slovakia passed Bulgaria for 42nd rank.
Slovakia, Bulgaria and Austria each added their 1,000th new user. Libya, Yemen and Madagascar each added their 100th new user.
Of the top 20 nations, Mexico grew the fastest in August (2.7% increase), while Italy grew the slowest (0.8%). The USA grew by 1.3% and France grew by 1.4%.
