Hi All

I just purchased this lovely coin

I know this is Polish Second Republic and those were a trial coins with limit information about how many was made

this coin is silver

on my scale 9.1g and 27mm

could someone confirm this is not a copy please

It’ silver one Thank you

Whats the mint mark on it?

I think there is a good chance this is a replica:

1. the weight is low (the one known original is 9.7 gr.  https://www.numisbids.com/sale/2277/lot/?lot=401 )

2. the reverse details do not match (the small wing feathers between the large ones are too thick, the lettering is not broad enough, the numerals are slightly different).

Maybe we have a collector of modern Poland coins who knows if there is a replica like this in the market.

You could also send your pictures to an expert like Mr. Kondrat at WCN:  moneta@wcn.pl

Presumably you did not pay 10,000 GBP for it, which is the value of a real one.

Hi, no I payed much, much less as not sure if this is a replica or real:)

but!!

I found few replicas but not in that got conditions and attention for details

I’m aware that those coins were made as a trial but this could is wear like used in circulation?
not sure what to think about this?:)?

Send the pictures to Mr. Kondrat at Warszawskie Centrum Numizmatczny (which is free), or send the coin in to NGC for authentiction (which will probably cost more than what you paid for the coin).
