hello, I volunteer at my local Oxfam Standard shop in Exeter - we get lots of donations of coins and banknotes. I'm the person who is doing the pricing. I've found this site invaluable in helping me do that, so thanks everyone.

We've had some old coins that look to me like they may have been cleaned. Is this right? If they have, does this affect their value? Here's the pics:

Yes cleaned coins have less value and it looks like all the coins have been cleaned although I’m not sure if the Canadian Cent was cleaned on the obverse though. 

Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER (on a QWERTY keyboard) is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.
