Hi

Recently, I have developed an interest in older Medieval coins.

Primarily, the regions that come from are Rome, Italy Papal States.

It would be greatly appreciated if some light could be shed on the following coin

Presuming from what I could gather,

½ Biaocco and Papal Coin.

Bronze

28 mm

Best regards Herman

So the Papal State is Gubbio and [on left of first picture] the year VII is 1682 >

Thank You, ZakUK

Being in Numismatics since 2006, you made me realize how little I actually know.

Since joining Nusmista, my interest has shifted from Moderns to the sinister.

I acquired over 20 Papal/Roman coins (of low grade and value).

I do not want to buy a Rolls-Royce without knowing how to drive, hence buying a beat-up Mini Cooper.

Being a Marine archeologist, Coins represent a bit more than a piece of metal

It represents a piece of history.

I thank you for your feedback.

It is appreciated and valued.

Best Regards Herman
