Need help grading/evaluating a 20 kopek from 1873

I recently acquired a 20 kopeks russian coin, 1873, from a coin shop and would like to know if I got a fair price (purely out of curiosity).

I paid 31 USD for it.

Thanks !

I am unsure on value but here is the page for it N#6221 Most that I have seen online have sold from $5 - $15 but if you believe yours is a better grade those tend to sell for a lot more. You could also send it to get graded professionally.

Would you say it's AU-50 condition?

Nice coin, very attractive and good to have in a collection!

However, not in AU condition. Comparing with an uncirculated example shown at

there is extensive wear to the details of the horseman in the center of the double eagle and on the flowers surrounding the 20 Kopeks (as well as the crown) on the side with the date. I would personally grade this coin XF (as always , this can differ somewhat with the observer).

Thanks!
