A lot of us are well above the age of playing video games, or just have no interest in them. Same with meme and silly photo posts or any other type of viral netaniqua social media 15 year olds type nonsense.

Where would post about members singing or about Sleep paralysis go? Just saying what's interesting to some is silly to others. Some people do have interests outside of numismatics. Who decides where the cutoff is?

Free Discussion is not just for Memes, Video Games, Viral net nonsense like Tick tock, AI and Spongebob, you can have serious topics in it too like as you put “sleep paralysis” - just it will be inserted amongst threads about Rasta Monkey and Kim Kardashian, thats the price you pay for free speech, just like we do, when types of penny or the 1515 Halfgroats of Livonia is interrupted by “Funny Pictures off the Internet”.

Did somebody say it was? Seems to me that the idea of two free discussion forums was largely rejected by the Numista voting the last time you suggested it. Why continue to try to exert your preference on the rest of us?
Just because my views don't fit the masses, does not mean I change them. I am passionate for common sense and intelligence, but this woke, politically correct, mad world won't allow that as someone will alway be offended or find me too honest. I actually autism, but no one has ever shown me an ounce of compassion or understanding over it. In fact its led to some of the worst discrimination still allowable in this ultra woke world. Its bad to discriminate against race, religion, culture, gender, sexuality, physical illnesses and disabilities - but not mental illness status - where its still open season. I have been booted off so many forum boards because of something I have said and its usually someone from an extreme minority who some how sways “mods”. The fact I have lasted so long here is a miracle (6 years of regular posting).
If it was 1965, people would agree with me in a heartbeat, but now its 2025 - we all have to be touchy feely and not offend anyone. That is not my fault that is society's and 4 people agreed with me and you wonder why humans are doomed. Your sentiments demonstrate the hive mind mentality that stifles creativity and free thought.
I mean a coin forum board one should be immune from a post about a game called “Brainrot” (At least its truthful). I am 49 I have no idea what a Roblox is, the last game I could even play or care about was called Sonik the Hedgehog or something like that. Like many older and poorer people I did not grow up with computers and screens. Our screen was a black and white telly, spacies were a rare treat you played whilst waiting for takeaway in the 1980s and once the horn honked you came or were left behind. We did not get a computer or internet until well after I left home. I only got my own computer (A second hand laptop) in 2009.
Also I am hardly swaying anyone, if most people oppose anything I propose, am I.

I did not insult you. I only asked you questions to try to understand your viewpoint. Yet you insult me in your reply. To be honest I felt the original post was ridiculous but within the “rules” of the forum. You apparently feel censorship of opinions is acceptable. Its a colloquial saying about, people who can't handle true opposition and getting into serious confrontations, should avoid starting them. Like a child getting into a dispute between grown adults.

In the Western world we have gender equality and the idea a woman remains in the kitchen is a sexist and degrading one that died out in the 1960s. Of course in the less developed and enlightened parts of the world, it may not have.

I read the previous comments and I don’t think we should be reviving this thread.
Some people like forcing their opinions in a mean way. They are the problems, not this thread.
And what makes it worse, is that this could be a young person, which means they should be encouraging their coin hobby. But instead they are bluntly pushing them out of this community, whether they know it or not.
Really, this thread should continue, to encourage and promote all types of people to get into coin collecting.
