I found this in my collection the other day and tried to look it up. Numista gave it a rarity of 93 which made me perk up. I’m having trouble grading the coin and finding the value. The coin looks better than most I’ve seen pictured. I went on many sites and the prices range from 48.00 - 4117.00    Im not very good at grading and finding the value of such an old coin. Please help if you can. Thanks in advance. 1.22gr 15.7mm

If you know the NRI you found the coin's page. Please post the link so everybody trying to help you doesn't have to search for themselves.

Pictures were posted on the Turkish Numista site. For others that have trouble seeing them here they are:

I have one which I have graded at VG max 4€ value, I haven’t got it in hand but i mostly wouldn’t keep it if it was in worse shape than yours. So yours might be VG to Fine, what people ask for and what they are sold for are two different things, in the USA no one is that interested in „world coins“ as that market is far too busy over valuing worthless cents with a minuscule error to stimulate good prices for such coins, whereas in Germany an XF could easily go for over catalogue value on eBay. I once found a US seller who had sold about 40 German State coins for between 2$ and 4$ each, they were all valued at catalogue 40$ to 250$ each! I was gutted as I would have bought almost all of them if I had found them sooner.

Thank you for the feed back. Very helpful.

Based on what I can (or can't) find on eBay, acsearch and MA-shops, it is not a very common type … single year, Sede Vacante, etc.

Here is what one trusted German dealer is selling it for:

Yours might not grade any higher but in my opinion has a bit better eye appeal.

The problem with the coin in the link above is that it is well over graded, and is probably a VG at best and not a VF, but because it is a single year coin - most people / dealers will try there best to over grade to justify the price, which as you can see is over 3x the catalogue value of VF (again another coin with a high price which probably won’t sell). However I am willing to accept that maybe the NGC price guide is maybe under represented - although they tend to populate their prices with more sold items than asking prices.

I agree with tdziemia that yours is a better coin, I also think a higher grade, but still neither are VF. I might go and find mine to compare as maybe I should upgrade my price from 6€ to 60€ 😂

I agree you are under-valuing your coin.  My searching across several platforms turned up only the one example at Olding across several selling platforms, which indicates the supply of this type in the market is low, which justifies a higher price.
