Series dedicated to the Spanish Peseta. The Peseta was the currency of Spain between 1868 and 2002. Along with the French Franc, it was also a de facto currency used in Andorra.

 

The series consists of 10 replicas of 1 Spanish Peseta coins, made of silver (.925) and with the mark “R”, issued by the media conglomerate Joly Group in 2001. The coins are from different periods from the 19th to the 20th centuries:

  • Alfonso XII:
    • 1 Peseta 1882
  • Alfonso XIII:
    • 1 Peseta 1891
    • 1 Peseta 1905
  • Second Republic:
    • 1 Peseta 1937
  • Second Republic, Basque Country:

  • Francisco Franco:
    • 1 Peseta 1944
    • 1 Peseta 1953
  • Juan Carlos I:
    • 1 Peseta 1975
    • 1 Peseta 1995

 

The set is presented on a CD-type box (there are two different colours: red and blue).
